We welcome George Bigley to the pulpit tonight. George attended Long Beach City College, Azusa Pacific University, and Western Evangelical Seminary. He pastored churches in Ohio, California, Iowa and Kansas. George served on staff at Shawnee Community Health Center and served as chaplain on the Chemical Dependency unit. For over 29 years he served as a police chaplain in Topeka, KS, Yukon, OK, Iowa State Patrol, and Surprise, AZ. He also served as fire chaplain at Yukon, OK. He and Chris have been married since 1971 and have 2 living children.

Dr. Filimao Chambo, current Africa Regional Director, was elected as the 42nd General Superintendent on the 7th ballot on Monday night of General Assembly. Dr. Carla Sundberg, current president of Nazarene Theological Seminary, was elected as the 43rd General Superintendent on the 11th ballot on Tuesday morning. Our congratulations and prayers are with these two leaders. Next Wednesday evening Marcia Mattoso, an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, will be with us to share information about non-profit projects she is involved with in the U.S. and Brazil. These projects are designed to assist and encourage those in need. We look forward to the ministry of our Interim Senior Pastor, Dr. Jim Bond, beginning next Sunday. We are so blessed to have the Bonds as part of our congregaThere are a number of cards on the bulletin board for your review. Please take a few minutes to enjoy hearing from others.
