MESSAGE NOTES

The Exciting Church | Part 5

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. Acts 2:42-47 (NLT) Why do we need to devote ourselves to one another? 1. GRACE NEWS SHOES OF HOPE- Can you cut hair? Serve snacks? Sort shoes and socks or school supplies? We need you! Mark your calendars for July 15th from 10AM-12PM for a training class. There are applications and sign-up sheets available. DAIRY QUEEN SUNDAY- DQ Sunday is TODAY! It’s a sweet way to support our Youth. The DQ gives a portion back to the Church. JOY GROUP- Is having a crockpot potluck lunch in the fellowship hall TOMORROW at 12PM. After lunch we will be playing baseball. Come join us for food, fun and fellowship! THE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP SUMMIT- The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day event to encourage leaders and help them improve their skills. Leadership is influence, and everybody has influence! Summit dates: are August 10-11. Register by July 11th for the $89 special. There’s more information at egracechurch.com/summit. BIBLE STUDY - Interested in growing deeper in your faith? Bible engagement in a small group setting is the best way! Join a group: Sunday morning Sojourners at 10AM in room 2, or the “Deeper Dive” group at 11:30 Sunday in room 3! Bring a Bible or we can provide one for you. COSTA RICA MISSION TRIP BREAKFAST- Eat a delicious, hot breakfast and support global missions! The team will serve on July 16th from 9:30-11:30AM.
