Our journey through the entire Bible is already 30 weeks in! Hope you are reading with us and meeting with a LifeGroup to discuss what you have read. Join in today @2:30 with our neighbor-church family at Mt. Vernon for a special dedication service of their new buildings. Our presence will show our support of them and under gird our continued efforts to join together as one in the body of Christ.

Vernon Dedication Service TUESDAY, JULY 31 8:00 a.m New Teacher Breakfast 12:00 p.m. Taco Tuesday 2 & 6 p.m. Back-to-School Fair Guide Orientation/Training This Friday is our annual Back to School Health and Wellness Fair from Noon to 6pm. We still need volunteers to help that day. There will be opportunities to serve as guides, help with uniforms, shoes, backpacks, security, haircuts, serving food, and a whole lot more! There is a sign-up sheet in the main lobby where you can put your name, number, time you can work, and area where you want to serve. Those who sign up as guides are asked to attend a training event this Tuesday (July 31) at 2 or 6 p.m. in the Conference Room. Call the church office at 601-545-3198 to sign up or for more info.

Next Sunday at 5:00 p.m. we will conduct our bi-annual prayer walk of Petal Primary School. Note pads will be available next Sunday for you to pick up and write notes ahead of the gathering at the school. This is a blessing to our students and teachers to find notes stuck to their doors as a reminder of our prayers.

Volunteers are needed to prepare food for the Feed New Teachers’ breakfast Tuesday, July 31. Dishes need to be here by 7:45 a.m. Contact Karen Fordham to sign up.

Next Sunday (August 5) is our Back to School Sunday! Preschoolers and children will promote to their new classes during LifeGroup. Blessing of the Backpacks will be a part of Worship @10:30. Bring your school backpack and wear your school colors. Worship will be followed by a pizza lunch and inflatables for preschoolers and children. The cost is $10 per family or $5 per single.
