Dr. Greg Heisler, Senior Pastor [email protected]

Welcome from Pastor Greg Psalm 9:1-2 invites us to worship God today: “I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High” What a great encouragement to be ready to worship God today! Guests, we are so glad you have chosen to worship at Mount Vernon today and we welcome you — may God bless your experience with us. Looking forward to feeding you today from God’s Word, — Pastor Greg

What happens at the end of the message? At the conclusion of the message each week there is a time of commitment. During this time we sing and provide you an opportunity to respond publicly to any spiritual decision God has prompted in your life. l If you prayed to begin a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ, we encourage you to come forward during this time of commitment and let one of the pastors know. l If you would like to begin the process of becoming a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, you may also come forward and one of our pastors will explain your next step. l If you would like spiritual counsel or prayer, you are always welcome to come to one of our pastors during this time. If you choose not to respond publicly, please record any spiritual decision on the Connect Card, which can be found in the pew rack, and place it in an offering plate or give it to one of our pastors or ushers before leaving.
