Summering: This summer we will offer once again the Summering program for anyone interested in experiencing ringing hand chimes. We will meet for four Wednesday’s for 7pm to 8 pm on July 12th, 19th, 26th, and August 2nd. It will be stress free and informal! There is a sign up sheet on the bullen board outside across from the chorus room if you are interested experiencing worshiping God through music! PS the ability to read music is not required!

NEIGHBORHOOD FUN NIGHT IS GOING ON THE ROAD! For the past 10 years Salem has hosted Neighborhood Fun night in the church parking lot. This year we are taking it on the road to National Night Out at Roof Park on Tuesday, August 1st. National Night Out is a national outreach to the community offered by the local police. There were 2000 attendees last year! This is a wonderful opportunity for Salem to move closer to one of our specific goals, blurring the lines between community and church. Please be in prayer for us we take it on the road to show our community how much Jesus loves them and how much we love them.

SURPLUS MATERIALS AVAILABLE: In cleaning out the “unfinished space’ in preparation for the on-going construction work, surplus material has been set aside available for congregation members. There are several solid core doors and large pieces of carpet (4 new, 1 used) that are available. If interested, contact Michael Hayes at 938-5150.

lowing Family Promise host weeks. This would entail 4 Sundays/year from 7-8:30am (or faster depending on the size of the team). The group will deflate mattresses & set up tables & chairs - no special skills needed, just a desire to serve and help get classrooms ready for Sunday School. Sign up on the Connection Card to join the team. Children’s Ministry is seeking a person to print/copy/organize/distribute the teacher materials one month in advance beginning in August. A 1 year commitment to serve is greatly appreciated. The printing/copying is done at the church on your time schedule. Mark your interest on the Connection Card.
