This session, led by Pastor Rudy and Pilgrim leadership, will be an opportunity to learn more about our congregation, ask questions you may have about Pilgrim or Lutheran doctrine and teaching, and, if you desire, to initiate membership in the congregation. Attending does not obligate you to become a member.

On Monday, June 19th Pilgrim Men’s Chorus will be singing the National Anthem at the Indians’ Baseball game. The game starts at 7:05 PM; they will be playing the Toledo Mud Hens. If you ordered tickets for the Indian's Baseball game, please pick up your tickets after either service on Sunday, June 11th. Carol Dahoney will be at the table in the coffee area. If you have not yet paid for them, please have a check for $14.00 per ticket made out to Pilgrim Lutheran Church with "Indians Game" on the memo line. We will be sitting in Section 117 (the First Base Line) in rows L, M, N, P, and Q. Hopefully that will give us a great view of our awesome Men's Chorus. We sold 53 tickets and have purchased 61. If you did not order tickets but your schedule has changed and you'd like to attend, please contact Debbie in the church office to reserve a ticket. If we sell all those tickets Debbie will have a number for you to call at the Indian's Organization to get tickets in or near our block. Remember to wear your red Pilgrim shirt (preferably), or any other red shirt. Remember that Mondays are dollar hot dogs, pop corn and peanuts night.

INDIANS BASEBALL GAME TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME!!
SUPER SENIORS LUNCHEON on JUNE 20th at noon! Lunch will be provided. Please sign up on the sheet on the credenza. Our Guest speaker will be our own Lynn Willis and his presentation will be: A Common-Sense Guide For The Selection and Use of Non-Prescription Medicines. Plan to attend the June 20th meeting of the Super Seniors group when Lynn Willis will give us the keys to making rational – and speedy decisions about over-the-counter medicines. You’ll be surprised at how easy it actually is to choose among all those products. We will suspend our meeting in July due to Vacation Bible School. Watch future bulletins, Narthex TV, and the August Pilgrims Progress for information on our August activity. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEED YOU! The Nominating Committee is in search of a person to serve as Recording Secretary for the Board of Directors beginning July 1st. [email protected]. SAME GENDER MARRIAGE WORKSHOPS: The Elders and Pastor Mueller are hosting one hour workshops with all Pilgrim members to discuss and hear all voices on same gender marriage. The workshops are being conducted in May and June with each of the Pilgrim boards and activity groups. The Elders will also convene workshops after several services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. You will be hearing soon from an Elder and/or your group leaders about your scheduled workshop. We look forward to your participation and feedback!
GOD’S WORK. OUR HANDS. SUNDAY SUPPORT FOR OUR LOCAL GENNESARET FREE CLINICS “God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday” will be September 24th, a day of service opportunities where our congregation will participate in activities that benefit our surrounding community and deepen our connection to the world around us. As preparation for “God’s Work. Our Hands. Sunday”, we need your help to collect items to prepare “hygiene kits” for our local Gennesaret Free Clinics. Our goal is to collect enough items to create 200 kits! Items needed include: Toothpaste Toothbrush (singles)
Dental floss Soap bars Shampoo Razors (disposable singles) Deodorant All items should be travel size (i.e. small) and can be purchased at local Walmart, Target or similar stores. Donated items can be deposited in the specially marked collection bin in the church lobby located under the donuts table near the monitor screen. All donations must be received by Sunday, September 17, 2017. Then, join us on Sunday, September 24th after 10:45 AM worship to help assemble kits in quart-sized ziplock bags. Questions?
