COMMUNITY MESSIAH LIFEWAYS AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP DRIVE — Memberships to the auxiliary of Messiah Lifeways, the retirement community affiliated with the Brethren in Christ Church, are now available/renewable for July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The auxiliary is a support group which provides monies for the Benevolent Fund to help pay for residents who are financially unable to be self-supporting. Membership is $5 a year per person. Renewal Forms will be placed in your church mailbox. New memberships can be requested on a connect card or by contacting Roy and Lois Lehman (mailbox S692). ROXBURY FATHER/DAUGHTER RETREAT — July 10–12, 2015: “Radiant at Roxbury” is an outdoor weekend celebrating the special connection between fathers and daughters. This weekend will feature sessions with Pastor Doug Bender, worship with Brandon Illo, a father and daughter picnic, hiking, games and fellowship. June 2015 GYM DANDY OF A SALE The Missionary Prayer Fellowship would like to express their appreciation to everyone who worked many hours helping to get ready for the spring rummage sale, working during the days of the sale and helping to pack, clean up and deliver the remaining items to a local church that will be including the items in their next truck delivery to needy areas of our country. We also express our appreciation and thanks to everyone who donated baked goods and helped organize and work our bake sale. And we would like to thank the congregation for their generous donations, making this fundraiser a great success. With your help, we were able to raise $4000 from this sale. If you are interested in more information about this ministry or would like more information about the Spring and Fall sales and volunteering, please contact Debe Fetter or Claudia Lehman, cochairpersons of the Gym Dandy of a Sale. The next sale will be October 30 & 31, 2015. This publication is printed as a free service for the members and regular attendees to inform other individuals of various community news items. There is a maximum submission length of 300 characters (about 50 words). These items are published on a first-come, first-serve basis.
