Our hope and prayer is that you feel seen, known, and loved as we worship our great God together!

Children’s Ministry returns today! This includes Babies & Toddlers through sixth grade. Parents, if your child exhibits any symptoms of illness, please keep them home. We are doing our part to provide a clean, healthy environment. It’s a team effort! While we are excited to come back together, we are proceeding with 1st and 2nd service options only at this time.

If you're a guest with us today, please fill out the Connect Card included in your Welcome Bag and place it in the offering box at the back of the room. If you need a Bible, feel free to ask an Usher. Please leave church Bibles on your seats so they may be disinfected following the service.

Attention Students! TBF returns today at 9:30am in room L29.

If you choose to keep your child with you during the service, Sermon Activity Bags are available to help keep your child engaged. Feel free to request one from an usher.

Congratulations to Kyle and Brianna C. on the birth of their son.

Welcome and Prayer

Pastor Aaron Brown

Found In You We're reaching out to welcome You God, fill this place again with Your song. Flood our thoughts with wonder and awe, Give us a greater glimpse of a never changing God.

All we want and all we need is found in You, found in You, Jesus every victory is found in You, found in You. Open wide our hearts now to Yours, every fear bowed down to Your love. That we would see like never before, Give us a greater glimpse of a never changing God. And in Your presence there is freedom, in Your presence we are made whole. Never Once Standing on this mountaintop, looking just how far we've come, Knowing that for ev'ry step You were with us. Kneeling on this battleground, seeing just how much You've done, Knowing every victory was Your power in us.

Scars and struggles on the way, but with joy our hearts can say, Yes our hearts can say,

Never once did we ever walk alone, never once did You leave us on our own. You are faithful, God, You are faithful . Scars and struggles on the way, but with joy our hearts can say, Never once did we ever walk alone, carried by Your constant grace, Held within Your perfect peace, never once, no we never walk alone.

Never once did we ever walk alone, never once did You leave us on our own. You are faithful, God, You are faithful . Every step we are breathing in Your grace. Evermore we’ll be breathing out your praise. You are faithful, God, You are faithful. Words and Music Jason Ingram | Matt Redman | Tim Wanstall © 2011 Chrysalis Music Ltd. CCLI License # 449536

Stronger There is Love that came for us, humbled to a sinner's cross. You broke my shame and sinfulness, You rose again victorious. Faithfulness none can deny, through the storm and through the fire. There is truth that sets me free, Jesus Christ who lives in me.

You came to seek and save the lost, You paid it all upon the cross. So let Your name be lifted higher, be lifted higher, be lifted higher. Words & Music Ben Fielding | Reuben Morgan, © 2007 Hillsong Publishing ,CCLI License No. 449536

Behold The Lamb See Him there, the great I Am, a crown of thorns upon His head. The Father's heart displayed for us, O God we thank You for the cross. Lifted up on Calvary's hill, we cursed Your name and even still You bore our shame and paid the cost, O God we thank You for the cross.

Behold the Lamb, the story of redemption written on His hands. Jesus, You will reign forevermore, the victory is Yours, we sing Your praise, Endless hallelujahs to Your holy name, Jesus, You will reign forevermore, the victory is Yours.

All for love this sacrifice for every sin our Savior died The Lord of life can’t be contained our God has risen from the grave. Oh, our God has risen from the grave. When the age of death is done we'll see Your face bright as the sun. We'll bow before the King of kings, O God forever we will sing. You reign forevermore, the victory is Yours, King Jesus reigns forevermore, the victory is Yours CCLI Song # 7122996 Kristian Stanfill | Melodie Malone | Phil Wickham © 2019 Kristian Stanfill Publishing Designee (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) sixsteps Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) sixsteps Songs (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) Worship Together Music (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) worshiptogether.com songs (Admin. by Capitol CMG Publishing) Phil Wickham Music (Fair Trade Music Publishing [c/o Essential Music Publishing LLC]) Simply Global Songs (Fair Trade Music Publishing [c/o Essential Music Publishing LLC]) Sing My Songs (Fair Trade Music Publishing [c/o Essential Music Publishing LLC]) For use solely with the SongSelect® Terms of Use. Announcements and Offering Prayer Goodness of God I love You Lord, Oh Your mercy never fails me, All my days I've been held in Your hands. From the moment that I wake up until I lay my head, I will sing of the goodness of God.

All my life You have been faithful, all my life You have been so, so good, With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God. I love Your voice, You have led me through the fire, In darkest night You are close like no other. I've known You as a father, I've known You as a friend, I have lived in the goodness of God. Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me. With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now, I give You everything, Your goodness is running after, it's running after me. Dr. Gary Hylander Acts Series ENCOUNTERING EXTREMES

Acts 14:1-18 Not everything in the Christian experience offers calm and tranquility. There will be times in life when we will encounter somewhat unexpected, extreme conditions. At one point, it might seem that the wind is propelling you toward your desired destination. Then, suddenly, the wind shifts, and your forward movement is now being hindered. This was the experience of Paul and Barnabas in Acts 14.

Having just seen very mixed responses to the gospel in Pisidian Antioch, it was time to move forward. The next stop would be Iconium, a wealthy and prosperous town, more Greek than Roman in its culture distinctives. From there, they would head to Lystra, about 18 miles southwest of Iconium. Here, Roman influence prevailed. This morning, we will examine the experiences of Paul and Barnabas in both locales, and note how they presented the gospel in the midst of extreme conditions.
