FLOWERBED WORKDAY June 30 - 8:00am-4:00pm We need your help! Our flowerbeds around Wesley are in need of some attention and that is where you come in. We are asking for you to come up on Saturday June 30 starting at 8am and going until its done. We will be pruning the plants, putting out new mulch, and whatever else needs to be done. So bring your work gloves, yard tools, and let’s make the flowerbeds look great! EVENING WORSHIP July 1 - 6:30pm - Sanctuary Join Pastor Wade for our monthly evening worship service. All those seeking God’s healing touch in their lives are invited to an intimate gathering of prayer and music. We meet in the sanctuary on the first Sunday of each month.
BUNCO July 5 - 6:30pm - Parlor Ladies, join us for an evening of fun and fellowship. We host Bunco on the first Thursday evening of every month. Bring a snack to share and $5 to help cover cost. Contact Kim Dolan for more information.

Our new senior pastor, Rick Ivey, and his family will be arriving soon to Southeast Texas. We are excited to welcome them to the Wesley family on July 1 for their first Sunday. Please join us after the 10:30 service for a POTLUCK lunch in the Praise and Worship Center. Bring your favorite Southeast Texas dish to SHARE with the Ivey’s and others. These dishes might be a main dish, side, or dessert!! Also to welcome the Ivey’s please bring gift cards to HEB, Kroger, and local restaurants. Again, Sunday July 1 at 11:30!
METHODIST MEN’S BREAKFAST July 2 - 6:30am - Dining Hall We will meet at 6:30 AM in the dining hall and we invite all the men in Wesley, and all others that are interested, to join us for what will be a very good breakfast and an interesting presentation. We are working on doing a speaker series this summer and fall that focuses on the maritime elements of a large part of the economic base of Beaumont. Our first in that series will be a presentation on July 2 by the Sabine Neches Navigation District, (SNND). SNND is the Federal Partner who manages the Neches River. Randy Reece, General Manager and Vernon Pierce, one SNND's commissioners, will discuss the importance of our river to Beaumont, and the nation, as well as future plans for the river.
