FAQ’s How do I renew my license? A renewal notice will be sent to you in the mail approximately two months prior to the expiration date of your license. It is important to always keep your address updated with the state so you will receive your renewal notice. I have extra credit hours. Can I apply them to the next renewal cycle? Carry-over hours are allowed. A maximum of 30 PDHs may be carried forward into the next renewal period. Carry-over hours must be documented if audited. You must list ALL 30 plus PDHs on the Continuing Education Report Form for carry-over hours and attach documentation in the same order as listed on the form. Who notifies the State of my continued education? It is the licensee’s responsibility to notify the state. You must keep your records for at least 4 years.
