“Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him” (Matthew 2:2, ESV). “Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NLT). “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers” (1 John 3:16, ESV).
