Kids Ministry Volunteer Coordinator
OVERVIEW The Bridge Church is a fast growing church in Spring Hill, TN that has grown from 80 to over 1200 since 2008. This growth curve has created a growing need for organizational leadership in our Kids Ministry.
Bridge Kids aims to partner with parents to help lay a foundation of the good news of Jesus in the hearts of our young children (birth through 5th grade). We serve nearly 300 kids per week. This person will advance the mission and vision of The Bridge Church through our Kids Ministry environments. They will lead a strong team of volunteers and leaders to invest in the lives of kids from birth-5th grade.
QUALIFICATIONS • • • •
Fulfill the membership requirements of The Bridge Live out the Staff Behaviors and participate in staff activities: weekly meetings, retreats, etc. Fulfill the character qualities of a deacon as outlined in Scripture Ability to see and articulate the vision of The Bridge and Bridge Kids while executing tasks to fulfill it Solution-oriented, positive attitude and poised Strong relational capacity that others want to work with Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for the details Be an vision oriented type of leader who can lead other leaders

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and execute the vision for the Bridge Kids Ministry, including o Role of and leadership of key volunteers o Partnering with parents o Building a team culture among volunteers o Social Media presence Oversee the execution of Sunday Morning environments Recruit volunteers in order to build teams and leaders to execute Sunday Morning environments Connect volunteers and families outside of Sunday Mornings Maintain and build organizational processes and systems o Recruiting and assimilation of new volunteers o Volunteer appreciation and training o Check In o Baptism/Discipleship process for Kids

DIRECT REPORT: Kids Ministry Director SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday HOURS: 45-50 hours per week (must be available for special events, meetings, etc.) COMPENSATION: TBD
