2008 Assessment Statements

The 2008 assessment statements where mailed in November. Please be aware that the assessments are due January 1, 2008. If you are unable to pay your assessments in one payment please contact SCS Management Services at 281-463-1777 and ask for the accounting representative for your association to set up an installment plan. The Association has a collection schedule policy that is actively followed. Avoiding payment can be very costly not only to you the resident but to the association as well. Avoid continued charges and pay in a timely manner or set up an installment plan!

Some Great places to post and look for missing pets are at www.kingwood.com / www.kingwoodyardsales.com / www. kingwoodunderground.com and www.lostpetsofkw.proboards105. com If you have a pet that gets out a lot, maybe it would be a good idea to have your pet “chipped”.  It’s a simple process where the vet puts a chip on the back of their neck, under the skin, that contains all the owners information on it.  It is really simple I believe, perhaps done in 2 seconds with a needle. I have heard that prices range from $20 - $69. Most vets can do this procedure.

CLUBHOUSE RENTAL

To use the Kings Manor clubhouse for your personal parties call Debbie Hays @ 281-358-2459. All HO fees MUST be currently paid up. Booking the party must take place NO LATER than 7 days prior to the date of your party.

Kings Manor Kings Manor Neighborhood Watch Program We have begun ramping up the Neighborhood Watch Program for Kings Manor due to recent events in our neighborhood. If you have an incident on your property, you first should contact the police department to file a report and to contact us as well. Also, if you are aware of an incident, you are asked to contact us with the information. We can then pass it on to other homeowners in order to remain vigilant and be aware on these types of activities in our neighborhood. If you would like to participate in our program please fill out the attached form and send it back to [email protected]. Remember, Always call 911 for emergencies only and if a theft is in progress. You can call the Sheriff dispatch office for all non-emergency calls. REMINDERS from our Neighbors –

To all Parents that have kids that play at the basketball court PLEASE tell them that it closes at dusk - which is before dark, not after dark.  NO loud music in the park/court/grassy area after dusk. Homeowners we need to work together to keep our neighborhood clean.  If you have that urge to drop trash on the street, don’t, put it in a trash can, we have several on the walk paths and the pool area.  If you see trash, pick it up.  Help to keep our area looking nice. Once again – If you walk your dog take a baggie along with you so you’ll be ready when he/she decides to leave a present for your neighbor. In the past people have been discussing the graffiti on the playground equipment. Nikki and Randi have been quite busy. They have taken a sharpie to most surfaces on the older wooden piece of equip. and in some places writing a novel!!  Nikki or Randi or whomever, should be tracked down and asked to paint over the top of all markings which now add up to 15 or more. Remember that it will cost us homeowners from our assessments to clean up this mess.
