Dear Lambeth FC Parents I would like to take this opportunity to formerly introduce myself as the new technical director and outline my duties in this capacity. I would also like to express how excited I am for the future of this soccer club. As someone who grew up in Lambeth, coming back to work with the coaches and developing players and teams is something I am looking forward to. As the former Elgin Middlesex Soccer Association District Coach and a Provincial B licensed coach I have training and worked with many elite athletes and coaches over the years. As technical director my goal is to raise the standard of coaching and player development at Lambeth FC. . To begin this process a coaching handbook has been developed to ensure all coaches understand the philosophy of the soccer club. Our goal is promote the advancement of dynamic, creative and intelligent soccer players. The key areas of focus will be on quality and intensity of training for best results in competition, age specific training with a focus on technical progression and the introduction and emphasis on small sided games as a training tool. To help facilitate this I would like to participate in as many training sessions as possible. My goal is to average at least one training session a week with the different age groups.
