LAUREL CREEK May 2014

Official Newsletter of the Residents of Laurel Creek

Our Community Hello Everyone!! Well, most of the oak blooms have fallen and the breezes are blowing them around everywhere. We are not seeing many results from our reminders for trimming bushes and foliage between the houses. Please note that the maximum height for these forms of growth is 4 feet. Please have your lawn persons remove your lawn clippings when they do your grass as some of these eyesores are left from Saturday until the following Wednesday. This would be greatly appreciated by your neighbors who have to look at this for several days. Houses in Laurel Creek are not staying on the market very long. That is a compliment to keeping our neighborhood looking GREAT at all times. If you see or notice something in our neighborhood that needs attention, please do not hesitate to call Sterling, our management company. We are still waiting to hear regarding the fencing issue at the basketball court area. The property still is awaiting the survey and then the pipeline company will come out and mark their easement. Thanks for your patience!!

EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS Because Laurel Creek is a Deed Restricted Community, any changes that you wish to make to the exterior of your home must first be approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). This includes roofing, decks, swimming pools, fence replacement, painting – even if you are re-painting using the same color, tree removal, door re-staining, etc. For a complete list, or if you have any questions about a planned project, please contact Sterling at 832-678-4500. Exterior Improvement Application forms are available online at Sterling’s website at www.sterlingasi.com. The ACC members are volunteers who act as quickly as possible to review each application; however please remember that they have 60 days to render a decision.
