FREE FLU SHOTS in WILSON COUNTY on Thursday, 12/5! The Wilson Count Health Department is offering flu vaccines at no charge to the community during a special “FightFluTN” vaccination event on Dec. 5. Go to the Wilson County Health Department at 927 East Baddour Parkway, Lebanon, from 8 AM—4:30 PM (in front of the Wilson County Fairgrounds). For more information, call the Wilson County Health Department at 615-444-5325, or visit www.tn.gov/health/cedep/immunizationprogram/ip/flu-in-tennessee/influenza-immunization.html. It is time once again for the Salvation Army Christmas bell-ringing campaign. The Salvation Army runs a yearlong after school and summer program for children, provides assistance to families in emergencies, provides and supports Christmas Angel trees, runs The Roast coffee house in the Cumberland area, works with schools throughout the year, and is on call 24/7. For many years our church has provided bell ringers at Kroger in Lebanon on the Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is a great opportunity for individuals—or your whole family—to experience the joy of helping others during the holiday season. If you would be available and want to volunteer for an hour or two on one of those Saturdays, please contact Ruth Cardwell at [email protected] or (615) 444-4320.
