Leesburg Community Church Worship Pastor Full-Time Responsibilities within the different worship venues: Contemporary (highly active participant and primary worship leader) Traditional (assist the traditional worship/choral director as needed while being an active participant in planning, equipping and discipleship) Spanish (support the worship leader) Students (support the student pastor) Our Church Leesburg Community Church is located in Leesburg, Virginia. Our church has 3 unique worship services: Contemporary, Traditional and Spanish. Although we worship using different forms and settings we are one church, unified in Christ. We have a long, rich history and presence in Leesburg, VA. That history has been one of influence and commitment to the gospel of Christ and the teaching of His word. We are a church of approximately 400 people with a large campus that hosts an independent K-8 school while having our own pre-school. We desire to see Christ preached, Christ received, lives transformed and Christ taken into the world. We have a high view of God’s Word and teach it without excuse or apology. We long to engage the culture around us with the love and truth of Christ. There is a strong emphasis on children, youth and families with emerging programs for each. We have a growing small group ministry as well as a strong Women’s and Men’s ministry. Our local and global REACH opportunities are developing quickly with a goal to see a mission opportunity presented once every month. Job Description The Pastor of Worship Ministries will have a saving, growing and passionate faith in Jesus Christ. They will be committed to the Leesburg Community Church’s mission, values and statement of faith. They will be the lead shepherd and overseer for all worship ministries church wide. They will work with the Sr. Pastor to strategize, develop, execute and oversee all worship ministry. They must love people and have a heart for helping their team grow musically, spiritually, personally and be comfortable leading both musician, creative and production teams.
