SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN

These provide a lifeline for communication at LSC. Use them to let the staff know of prayer needs, spiritual commitments, address, phone, and email changes. Cards are located in the seat pockets in the Worship Center, or you may send your request to [email protected].

Want to find out what membership means at LSC? Attend our one-time membership class taught every other month by the pastors. If interested, please fill out and turn in a connection card. Our next class is Friday, December 19 at 6:30 in the Chapel.

Boilingpoint is our weekly student worship experience every Sunday morning (except the second Sunday of the month). It meets at 9:30 am and at 11:00 am in the LSC chapel. The Well is a college-age worship experience every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at the Midtown Campus with a free meal and fellowship starting at 6 pm.

Sunday School is available for infants through 6th grade each Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00 am.

LIFEGROUPS

LifeGroups are the heartbeat of LSC. LifeGroups meet during the week in homes throughout our community. We encourage every student and adult to be involved in one of these community/study groups. For more information please visit the guest info counter in the lobby or check out our website.

ALL CHURCH Office Closed • Tuesday, November 18. We will be closing the office for staff training. Christmas Choir • Our Christmas Choir has already begun rehearsing! Are you interested in joining the choir? Show up for rehearsal Wednesday 7:15-8:00 pm. Operation Christmas Child • Thanks to all who brought shoeboxes for our dedication today. Volunteers are needed to pack the shoeboxes in cartons tomorrow, November 17, at 2:00 pm. Volunteers with trucks are also needed to transport them to First Baptist Bellevue, our local collection point. If you can help, please sign up in the lobby. If you didn’t bring your shoeboxes today, you can bring them to the church office tomorrow or anytime this week and we will get them where they need to go.

STUDENTS 4G Dodgeball Tournament • Tonight from 6:00 - 7:30 pm! It’s the last dodgeball of the year so form a team of 8 players and sign up in the chapel. Lifegroups • Not in a lifegroup? Middle Schoolers, come Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:00 pm for Middle School Plunge. High Schoolers, see Pastor Eric to get plugged in! Joshua: Living Out a Courageous Faith • Don’t miss our brand new sermon series in Boilingpoint starting next Sunday, November 23rd. Boilingpoint is our student worship service on Sundays at 9:30am and 11:00 am for students in grades 7-12

Join our Kid’s Krew “On Mission Toy/Warm Up Drive” now through December 3: •Bring an new unwrapped toy for Operation Santa •Bring new or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, etc. Items will be gathered in boxes located in the lobby and delivered to the Open Door Mission.

Fresh Hope Mental Health Support Group • Tuesdays, 7:00 - 8:30 pm in Room K For more information contact [email protected]. Family Christmas Movie Night • Join us December 1, 8, and 15 for Family Christmas Movie Night! We will be watching Elf, A Christmas Carol, and White Christmas! Popcorn, Hot Chocolate, and Coffee will be provided! Bring your friends and family for great fun and fellowship!

JAM (Jesus and Me) CLUB • is a once a week Kid’s Bible Club held in an elementary school for boys and girls K-6th Grade. This is a ministry of Heritage Hill Church of the Nazarene led by Pastor Jamie Spurlock (402-331-8900). Currently there are clubs in a few Papillion and Bellevue elementary schools. There is a desire to begin a group at Two Springs Elementary. If you would like to volunteer for this program or get more information, please contact Tara Sainz (402-504-3225) and/or Pam Albano (402-933-1308).

Decorating the church for Christmas • Tuesday, December 2, 7:00-9:00 pm. Join us for the hanging of the greens and decorating the Christmas tree. Come enjoy cookies, hot cocoa, and music, as we take time in fellowship to brighten up our church for this holiday season. No experience is necessary, just a joyful heart. Please sign up in the lobby.

Canned Food Drive • Sunday, November 23, On that day, we are asking each person to bring a canned good for the Open Door Mission. We are asking each person who can fast to do so for a brief period of time--Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon or evening, for spiritual renewal and to appreciate how blessed we are. We’ll have a special Thanksgiving service on Sunday.

Immediate/Important Need in the Children’s Ministry: Two teachers for the First Grade at 11:00 am One teacher for the Second Grade at 11:00 am One teacher for Pre-K at 11:00 am Need a church member to step up and lead in one of these areas; our kids need you!

College LifeGroups • We offer 3 different Lifegroups, all of which meet on Wednesdays at 8:30 pm. Located in Oakhurst, led by Tim Stiansen; Southern Oaks, led by Tim Will; and Quail Creek, led by Pastor Eric. See Pastor Ryan or Pastor Eric with any questions about student ministry activities.

Welcome Heidi Burns to the Kid’s Krew Staff! We are pleased to announce- Heidi Burns is our new Full Time Children’s Coordinator! Heidi has served as an Intern in the children’s ministry for the last two years. We are excited to have her fill this position! Please stop by and welcome her.
