ALTERING COMMUNITY CATS Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) PROGRAM 1. It costs fewer taxpayer dollars to sterilize than to kill feral cats. 2. The population will be controlled with no new litters. 3. Cats are vaccinated. 4. Annoying behaviors like howling, fighting and marking will stop or decrease dramatically. 5. It's humane. Q - What is EAR TIPPING? A - It’s painlessly removing a quarter inch off the top of community cats’ left ears while the cat is anesthetized for spay/neutering. Eartipping is the universal symbol of, and only proven way, to permanently identify a community cat who’s been evaluated, rabies vaccinated, and sterilized.

About Us Vision Statement Feline Rescue And No Kill (F.R.A.N.K.) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit all volunteer supported no kill cat rescue. F.R.A.N.K. is operated by a diligent foster network dedicated to the pursuit of loving forever homes to the abandoned, abused, neglected and surrendered cats in East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. We partner in the trap, neuter, return (TNR) program for homeless cats. We recognize the importance of educating, encouraging and assisting our community on the responsibilities of proper pet parenting and humane treatment of animals. Each F.R.A.N.K. cat or kitten will be spay/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, flea treated and provided superb veterinary care. We offer hospice to special needs and elderly cats, caring for them until end of life. Our adoptable cats and kittens are showcased at PetSmart Kingsport, TN location. Our screening consists of adoption application and contract. We require any of our cats or kittens be returned to FRANK if the animal requires rehoming. INSIDE ONLY AND NO DECLAWING

Good customer service is a cornerstone of our philosophy. We want every person who encounters the organization to feel like he or she has been folded into our family. We also want to get the animals out of our care and into their permanent homes as quickly as possible so we may save even more lives. We are committed to making the adoption process as seamless as possible.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS Although we are a young organization, we believe collectively we have the experience, savvy and diversity to allow Feline Rescue And No Kill, (F.R.A.N.K.) to grow and flourish. While we are mindful of not overextending ourselves, we are looking forward to expanding in the future as resources allow.

Be a Foster to a Homeless Pet Fostering animals in need of permanent homes is an essential part of this organization. Indeed, without a network of foster homes, Feline Rescue And No Kill, (F.R.A.N.K.) would be unable to take in the volume of our communities homeless animals . PLEASE consider being a foster home. Once foster caregivers complete an application and go thru a short orientation process, animals may be delivered to their homes. If interested in fostering, please text Kim at 423.306.3977 or make a request via email to [email protected]

Additional ways to help... Collect your Purina Dog and Cat weight circles. Aluminum cans, collections bins are located at both Family Pet Veterinary Hospital and Colonial Heights Animal Hospital.
