DAY 1 – Read Luke 1:1-4 and Acts 1:1-3. List some characteristics about Luke’s personality that you know from reading these verses. List the 5 main characteristics of your personality. DAY 2 – Read Luke 24:44-53 and Acts 1:1-9. Underline the common facts in each account. DAY 3 – Read Acts 1:1-14. In a secular sense, what is a witness? What does a witness do? From a Christian perspective, what does it mean to be a witness beyond preaching a sermon? DAY 4 – Read John 14:16-31. How does Jesus describe the Holy Spirit in this portion of Scripture? When did He say that the Holy Spirit would come?

DAY 5 – Read Acts 1:9-14 and Romans 12:12. What does it mean to be “devoted”? Make a list of your devotions. Where does prayer land on this list? DAY 6 – Read Acts 1:15-26. Who do you need to give a “witness” to? Make a list of 5 people and then pray that God would open the door for you to share your faith. DAY 7 – Read Acts 2:1-36. Who preached the first recorded sermon? How is this an example of dunamis power?
