Lotus Cars USA, Inc Lotus Cars Warranty Pre Authorization Guide Sheet This sheet gives a simple overview of the categories of repair that require 'Prior Authorization' from the Warranty Department at Lotus Cars USA, Inc. before repairs are carried out. 1.

$500 or above on a Mechanical repair: When the total estimated repair value would exceed $500.00 for parts and labor. The vehicle VIN, customer name, current mileage, condition, cause and suggested remedy details should be emailed to [email protected]

Paint-work is 100% Any paint repairs including sublet. Always accompanied with relevant mark up sheets, estimates and digital pictures e-mailed to [email protected]

Where Diagnosis Time is Required in excess of 0.9 hours: (T. T. work code repairs typically) Please refer to the Policy & Procedures Manual for allowances on adjustments and/or diagnosis time. (Do not submit TT codes for diagnostic time over 0.9 hours if you have not contacted and given express permission to claim for additional time by your nominated Field Service Engineer. For the avoidance of doubt remove and refit operation codes end in (01) and renew codes end in (02)claims were these codes are used incorrectly will be rejected.

Battery Replacement: Please refer to Policy & Procedure Manual for guidelines.

Non regular Vehicle Warranty requirements 1.

Customer Goodwill Claims: Any repairs applicable under Customer Goodwill or where the warranty period would have expired by the time the claim is received by Lotus Cars.

All Parts Warranty: Any Parts Warranty Claims.
