If you have never been to Israel you owe it to yourself to see the land you have only read about in the Bible. Indeed, God’s Word comes alive when you travel the same roads as Abraham, Jesus Christ and the apostles. A free informational meeting will be held in room 102, Sunday, January 13th at 5:00 p.m.

“O Come, All Ye Faithful” Sermon “A Miraculous Announcement” Dr. Carl Broggi

There are some great Wednesday nights ahead in 2019! Pastor Larry will be looking at the10 Commandments. And in the spring, Pastor Carl will be presenting his “Biblical Theology of Money” course. Make your plans now to attend in the new year!

There is a hunger for solid Biblical teaching in the rural areas of Jasper and Hampton counties. We have been given an opportunity to open a new campus in a church building in the community of Grays, near Varnville. If you live near there, would you consider attending from time to time, to support and grow their congregation? By God’s grace we plan to hold the first service January 13th at 11 a.m.

Worship Through Giving “He Has Come For Us” Introductions of Those Making Decisions

Our deepest sympathies go out to Floyd Washburn in last week’s passing of his wife, Patty. She had been an encourager to so many in spite of her own medical struggles. And Patty served faithfully in the choir until she could no longer. Please pray God’s comfort for Floyd and God’s love and leading for the children. Office Closed

Lyrics for Sunday, December 23rd “Angels from the Realms of Glory” Angels from the realms of glory, wing your flight o'er all the earth; Ye who sang creation's story, now proclaim Messiah's birth: (Chorus) Come and worship, Come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Shepherds, in the fields abiding, watching o'er your flocks by night, God with man is now residing, yonder shines the infant Light: (Chorus) Come and worship, Come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Sages leave your contemplations, brighter visions beam afar. Seek the great Desire of nations, Ye have seen His natal star: (Chorus) Come and worship, Come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. Saints before the altar bending, watching long in hope and fear, Suddenly the Lord, descending, in His temple shall appear: (Chorus) Come and worship, Come and worship, worship Christ, the newborn King. “Joy to the World” Joy to the world! The Lord is come, let earth receive her King. Let ev’ry heart prepare Him room, and heav’n and nature sing, and heav’n and nature sing, And heav’n, and heav’n and nature sing. Joy to the earth! The Savior reigns. Let men their songs employ, While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains Repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy, repeat, repeat the sounding joy. No more let sins and sorrows grow, nor thorns infest the ground. He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found, far as the curse is found, Far as, far as the curse is found. He rules the world with truth and grace, and makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, and wonders of His love, And wonders, wonders of His love.

“Silent Night” Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright. Round yon virgin mother and child, Holy Infant so tender and mild; Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night, shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar, heavenly hosts sing alleluia, Christ the Savior is born! Christ the Savior is born! Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love’s pure light, Radiant beams from Thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace, Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth. “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” Hark! the herald angels sing, Glory to the newborn King; Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled! Joyful, all ye nations rise, join the triumph of the skies; With th'angelic host proclaim, "Christ is born in Bethlehem!" (Chorus) Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King." Christ, by highest heav'n adored; Christ, the everlasting Lord Late in time behold Him come, offspring of the Virgin's wom: Veiled in flesh the Godhead see; hail th'incarnate Deity, Pleased as man with men to dwell, Jesus, our Emmanuel. (Chorus) Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King." Hail the heav'n born Prince of Peace! Hail the Sunof Righteousness! Light and life to all He brings, ris'n with healing in His wings. Mild He lays His glory by, born that man no more may die; Born to raise the sons of earth, born to give them second birth. (Chorus) Hark! the herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King."

“Angels We Have heard on High” Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plains, And the mountains in reply echo back their joyous strains. (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. Shepherds, why this jubilee? Why your joyous strains prolong? Say what may the tidings be, which inspire your heavenly song? (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. Come to Bethlehem, and see Him Whose birth the angels sing; Come, adore on bended knee Christ the Lord, the newborn King. (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. See within a manger laid, Jesus, Lord of heaven and earth! Mary, Joseph, lend your aid, with us sing our Savior's birth. (Chorus) Gloria in excelsis Deo, Gloria in excelsis Deo. "Go Tell It on the Mountain with Mighty to Save" Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Go, tell about the shepherds, the star up in the sky, the angels shouting glory, our hope is burning bright! Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Go tell how mercy found you, how love has made you new. Go tell the weak and weary how grace has brought you through. Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Jesus is born! Shine your light and let the whole world sing for the glory of the risen King. Shine your light and let the whole world sing for the glory of the risen King. Go sing of your salvation, the joy that never ends. Go tell the world that Jesus will one day come again! Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Jesus is born! Jesus is born! Tell the world, tell the world that He is born! Jesus is born! Tell the world, tell the world that He is born! Jesus is born! Tell the world, tell the world that He is born! Jesus is born! Go, tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’ry where. Go, tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born! Jesus is born! Tell the world, tell the world that He is born! Jesus is born!

“O Come, All Ye Faithful” O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant; O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem! Come and behold Him, born the King of angels. (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation; O sing, all ye bright hosts of heav'n above. Glory to God, all glory in the highest! (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! Yea, Lord, we greet Thee, born this happy morning, Jesus, to Thee be all glory giv’n; Word of the Father, now in flesh appearing! (Chorus) O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, O come, let us adore Him, Christ the Lord! “Who Is He in Yonder Stall?” Who is He in yonder stall, at whose feet the shepherds fall? Who is He in deep distress, fasting in the wilderness? ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! The King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall, Crown Him! Crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He the people bless for His words of gentleness? Who is He to whom they bring all the sick and sorrowing? ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! The King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall, Crown Him! Crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He that stands and weep sat the grave where Lazarus sleeps? Who is He the gath’ring throng greet with loud triumphant song? ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! The King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall, Crown Him! Crown Him, Lord of all! Lo! at midnight, who is He prays in dark Gethsemane? Who is He on yonder tree dies in grief and agony? ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! The King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall, Crown Him! Crown Him, Lord of all! Who is He that from the grave comes to heal and help and save? Who is He that from His throne rules through all the world alone? ‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story! ‘Tis the Lord! The King of glory! At His feet we humbly fall, Crown Him! Crown Him, Lord of all!

“He Has Come for Us” God rest ye merry, gentlemen, let nothing you dismay. Remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day, To save us all from Satan’s pow’r, when we were gone astray: O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy, O tidings of comfort and joy. He has come for us, this Jesus, He’s the hope for all mankind. He has come for us, the Messiah, born to give us life. From God, our heav’ny Father, a blessed angel came, and unto certain shepherds, brought tidings of the same, How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name: O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy, O tidings of comfort and joy. He has come for us, this Jesus, He’s the hope for all mankind. He has come for us, the Messiah, born to give us life. All the angels sing, “Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is born!” All the children sing, “Hallelujah! He is Christ, the Lord!” He has come for us, this Jesus, He’s the hope for all mankind. He has come for us, the Messiah, born to give us life. All the angels sing, “Hallelujah! Jesus Christ is born!” All the children sing, “Hallelujah! He is Christ, the Lord!” "Go, Tell It on the Mountain" Ben. Go tell it on the mountain, over the hills and ev’rywhere; Go tell it on the mountain that Jesus Christ is born!
