TITLE: Maintenance Technician REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY: This person’s primary responsibility is to ensure all maintenance work, scheduled and unscheduled, is performed fully on production plants to ensure maximum plant efficiency in operation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • • • • • • • • • • • • •

Ensure all personnel are working to plant safety standards Perform routinely schedule preventative maintenance and document work completed Help develop long-term preventative maintenance projects Work with production crew to help drive efficiency in operations Conduct maintenance on items identified through internal safety audits, pre-shift inspections, and other inspections Minimize downtimes by utilizing all personnel and equipment Perform inventory management on spare parts Ensure all assets are being properly cared for- including adhering to greasing/oiling schedules, and inspection of parts to ensure they are meeting appropriate specifications Inspection/cleaning of plant components Performs housekeeping in workplace Monitors outputs and communicates info to on-site Foreman and Hixton Operation Must be self-motivated and flexible Performs other related duties as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in outside, sometimes wet, environment and frequently climb stairs. Employee may be subject to changing weather conditions, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, minor heights, and non-hazardous chemicals.
