Make Your Money Behave NOV. 11/12 JASON STRAND

It’s easy to get drawn into the world’s financial plan—to make as much as you can so that you can have nicer stuff. But God’s financial plan is a lot different than that, and it can be summarized into one word: contentment.

Discussion Questions 1. What’s causing you financial stress these days? 2. What does it mean to make your money behave? Where could you cut back your spending so that your money can go further? 3. Read Proverbs 21:20. The world’s financial plan is live, save, then give. God’s plan is give, save, then live. Which pattern have you been living by? What needs to change in how you manage your finances so that you are living out God’s plan? 4. In what areas of life do you need to learn to be content? What’s getting in the way of your contentment?

Challenge Spend time this week and take a good, honest look at your financial situation, and determine where you can start to make changes. Consider signing up for Financial Peace University, which is starting in January at each campus. For more information, visit eaglebrookchurch.com/fpu.

Commit to Memory The wise person saves for the future; the foolish person spends whatever he or she gets. Proverbs 21:20
