Ways to buy HP Care Pack Services for Education are an ideal way to manage tighter training budgets by simplifying your budgeting and purchasing processes, while making sure that training requirements are met as needed. You can buy a Care Pack when you: • Buy a hardware product • Buy/renew a support contract (Product number HA167AC) • Buy from HP EDU directly as standalone service HP offers two basic types of HP Care Pack Services for Education: • A currency-based “account” of funds: Much like an “education gift card,” this type of Care Pack Service can be used to purchase training credits in increments of $1000 or $100 USD, or the approximate equivalent in local currency. It comes in two versions: a) HP Care Pack Total Education b) HP Care Pack Total Education One • Technology-specific Care Pack Services: These Care Pack Services are priced to pay for one student to attend one day of publicly scheduled training on the respective technology, for example, HP-UX, HP ProLiant, HP Storage, and so on.
