The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

“HE leadeth me in paths of righteousness for His ……..” As sheep it is easy for us to get into a rut. Here are three ways to avoid getting into a spiritual rut: #1. We need to ___________________________________. Mark 10:43 #2. We need to ___________________________________. Proverbs 17:22 #3. We need to ___________________________________. Matthew 6:33 It is interesting to note what David implies in this Psalm. David says, “He leadeth __________________!” God is big enough _____________________________ and still small enough _____________________________. John 10:3 Does God have a specific plan for my life? YES!!! Jeremiah 29:11 Our Path vs. God’ Path fame, fortune, feelings __________________ 2 Cor. 5:7 knowledge _________________ 1 Kings 3:9 God leads us in these paths of righteousness for HIS name’s sake! This means _________________________________________________________________. The fact that HE LEADETH ME IN PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME’S SAKE, reveals to me the last of six blessings believers can claim in the 23rd Psalm. Blessing #6: THE LORD GIVES GUIDANCE!!!
