Kim Lee shares, “I took a Disciple Bible Study for the first time about 28-years ago and taught it for 26-years. The study has been one of the great highlights of my life and has helped to shape my relationship with God, my family, friends, neighbors, this body of Christ and all of creation! HABITAT HOUSES COMPLETE AND OCCUPIED

A traditional Lenten discipline is to fast and to give the money we would have spent on a meal to the care of our neighbor as a way of reflecting God's mercy.

Nasva stands in the kitchen of her house and Hassan and Zeinab look out at their front yard (note the flower pot decorated by our Camp Habitat kids!).

Selwyn is offering two avenues for Lenten Giving: (1) Please consider setting aside monies to sponsor a child at the Montclaire Freedom School. (2) There will also be “One Great Hour of Sharing” envelopes available on Easter morning during worship.

Completion of the houses was held up by the bug in the county computers. This delayed inspections. We were also hampered by the frigid January weather.

* * * * *

Both families have now moved into their houses. We have helped two more families have warm, safe shelter and homes for their children to grow up in. Thank you, everyone who helped and supported Habitat!

Any amount you can give will brighten a child’s summer and change a child’s life.

YOUTH NEWS Grace and Peace, SAPC Family! February was a big month for our youth. Starting with Souper Bowl of Caring, the youth raised $838 for Urban Ministry. We tucked in an epic game night of Dungeons and Dragons, and book-ended the month by preparing twelve “Welcome Home Kits” for chronically homeless neighbors moving into permanent affordable housing. Here’s what March looks like! Jay DATE
