Sunday Series during Lent

A Huge Thank You to Sharon Davis for her service to God and people in our office! We wish her many blessings working at the Cape Coral Campus! (We’ll still see her here in ministry!) Welcome Rochelle Redmon as the new Administrative Assistant at Grace Central beginning March 23! We know God will do a great work through Rochelle! WELCOME PASTOR COURTNEY! He’s here! And he will serve together with Pastor Arlene for the next few months, so shower him with our warm Central Campus Hospitality! HELP WANTED: This is a paid position. Facilities Director for the Central Campus! 3/4 time, must have strong sobriety (if in recovery) and excellent character and work ethic. Please get an application from the office, fill it out, and return it to the office.

God’s Vision for Grace Church: To partner with God in transforming people from unbelievers to fully devoted disciples of Jesus to the glory of God!

Our Values at Grace Church:

1. We are unashamedly God centered! 2. We are passionately People-focused! 3. We are strategically Team Based!

Our Strategy for Making Disciples at Grace Church: We seek to REACH ! people who need Jesus, CONNECT ! them to God and other Christ followers, FORM ! them to have a growing relationship with Jesus, and SEND ! them into the world to serve God and others!

A Message from Pastor Arlene: I have a bit of “this and that” to share with you today, let’s call it “family business!” Last week in this space I lifted up the staff and volunteers who teach our children and youth about Jesus and how to live a life following Him. Thank you to the two people who expressed an interest in being involved with the youth (teens) ministry. Some of my own personal sweetest memories are about serving the youth group in my first church when I came to faith in Christ. Today (Sunday) Ms. Venia from Grace Kidz (elementary aged and younger) will share about your marvelous children and the joys of making a difference in a young child’s life. Would you examine your heart and see if you could give the gift of some time to the children’s ministry, to pour love and learning into Christ’s youngest potential disciples so they, also, can grow to be fully devoted disciples of Jesus to the glory of God? Maybe this week two more people will step forward into this rewarding role! Is this you? You will see from reading the front page that Sharon Davis has accepted a great job at the Cape Coral Grace Campus, and Rochelle Redmon will be our new Administrative Assistant. God has a great way of moving in folks’ lives so that all things work together for the good of his desires, ours, and for the good of others. In addition, Sarah McMillan will be leaving as Facilities Director, although like Sharon she won’t be leaving our worship. This is exciting to see where God is leading her next, as well as exciting for God to do a new thing with a new person in that position. And last but certainly not least, Pastor Courtney has finally gotten here from Detroit, to get to know all of you and to jump into the future of Grace Central. Let’s each of us help Pastor Courtney learn about the church and envision our future. I’ve heard a bunch of folks mumbling about change. “Why is there so much change going on around here?” Yet it is only change that is truly exciting! We want our church to grow in numbers and relationship with Christ. God works in change. Let’s embrace the change and trust God expectantly as he works. I am with you in this journey!
