I. We Have An Enemy

• We are engaged in a battle with an evil enemy.



• The fundamental weapon of our evil adversary is temptation.



• Our enemy uses deception to tempt us into trying to find life apart



from God.

II. Understanding Temptation 1 Corinthians 10:6-13

1. We need to expect temptation.



• Sometimes the evil one doesn’t tempt us to do



what’s wrong, he tempts us not to do what’s right.



2. God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear.



3. God always provides a way out of temptation.

• Develop relationships of accountability. • Immerse yourself in scripture.
