This Marketing Advisor role will support marketing and sales strategies for some of Australia’s most recognisable English language training and settlement services and, universities, including Navitas Professional and Navitas English. This position is primarily responsible and accountable for the provision of marketing support to Government Services and Employment, which comprises Navitas English and Navitas Professional. With a strong ability to build and maintain relationships, the Marketing Advisor will be a vital part of designing and monitoring growth programs based on the business’ needs, this requires planning, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns to drive enrolments and grow brand engagement. This position is primarily responsible and accountable for the provision of marketing support to GSE, which comprises Navitas English and Navitas Professional.

The ideal candidate we seek will ideally have the following: • • • • • • •

Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related discipline Demonstrated marketing and business planning skills including experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing plans Analytical and critical thinking skills in developing solutions to complex problems and identifying opportunities Comfort in working in multi-site, matrix management environment Able to form strong professional relationships with peers within each business Sound negotiation skills together with excellent written and spoken communication skills Experience in digital marketing is desirable

Overview and Objectives of the Position Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media programs, work-force education and student recruitment. The Marketing Advisor, GSE role sits within the Careers and Industry division within Navitas and works specifically on the Navitas English and Navitas Professional brands. The division includes the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), Government Services and Employment (GSE) and SAE Creative Media Institute. This position is primarily responsible and accountable for the provision of marketing support to GSE, which comprises Navitas English and Navitas Professional. The Marketing Advisor has responsibility for supporting marketing and sales strategies and operational plans for the business to help deliver new student numbers and revenue targets including marketing planning, research, acquisition and cross sell programs within budget. The Marketing Advisor is required to build strong working relationships based on understanding business needs, designing and monitoring of growth programs, supported by comprehensive communications. This role will also be required to work on other activities and brands as directed by their line manager. Key relationships • • • • • • •

Key Result Areas 1. Financial performance • Work to strategically aligned growth plans and allocated budget to meet and support targets 2.

Marketing and sales strategies, planning, implementation and monitoring • Contribute to and implement marketing and operational plans including key strategic marketing initiatives • Ensure usability, relevance and currency of web, social media and printed collateral to meet the needs of students and partners • Identify and manage implementation of agreed promotion and campaign opportunities, including annual marketing activity calendars • Contribute to the planning and rollout of new programs, initiatives or projects • Provide data analysis and insights on campaign metrics and other performance indicators to key stakeholders

Campaign, communications and promotions planning and management • Design and manage student acquisition campaigns including nurturing campaigns to improve conversion rates • Monitor specific marketing campaigns and promotions against budget and recommend corrective action where necessary • Ensure campaign outcomes and insights are incorporated into future plans • Produce marketing collateral (including e-marketing collateral): conceptualisation, copywriting, content checking, adherence to brand guidelines, adherence to the provisions of the ESOS Act and other relevant legislation, proof-reading, agency liaison etc • Execute email campaigns and social media activity that supports business needs and campaign activity including updates, monitoring and administration • Ensure that all activities in relation to the setup, maintenance, posting, administration and removal of information in all materials are executed in line with Navitas policies and procedures

Selection Criteria (Qualifications, Skills and Experience) Essential: • Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related discipline • Demonstrated marketing and business planning skills including experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing plans • Critical thinking skills in developing solutions to complex problems and identifying opportunities • Comfort in working in multi-site, matrix management environment • Able to form strong professional relationships with peers in different disciplines and across Navitas • Sound negotiation skills together with excellent written and spoken communication skills • Commercial acumen including understanding the academic and commercial implications of actions taken • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and initiatives, set priorities to achieve objectives • A successful track record managing marketing or product management teams Desirable: • Experience in a similar role in an education organisation • Experience in digital marketing, including social media and email campaigns
