Marketing Coordinator International College Wales Swansea (ICWS) Salary: £21,169 to £25,730 Permanent - Full Time Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, language training, workforce education and student recruitment.

The Marketing Coordinator (MC) assists the Marketing Manager/Admission team of the College and provides inoffice support to the Marketing Team in the areas of marketing administration, conversion strategies, inbound familiarisation tours and campus tours. The MC will also be required to provide general support to the Marketing team in the areas of materials distribution, filing, updating Agency records, liaising as necessary with travel agency regarding travel arrangements for the Marketing Team; liaising with inbound visitors and visiting groups, campus tours for visitors and answering phone calls for all members of the Marketing of the Team when their stations are unattended. Furthermore, the MC is expected to assist the Student Services Team in the provision of an extensive and comprehensive after-sales service to students at peak times in February, June and September/October just before, during and following a new commencement. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:           

Fluency in Mandarin Willingness to travel around the UK and overseas Minimum qualification of A Level’s Computer literate via use of Windows based software applications Knowledge of education services industry in the UK and offshore Administrative experience in a multi-cultural environment Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings when required Proven ability to organise own workload and to cope with a variety of task demands An understanding of UKVI Tier 4 compliance regulations and QAA Code of Practice Self-motivated with good organisational skills For further details please see the attached Information Sheet.

Purpose of Position The MC assists the Marketing/Admission team of the College to which he/she is attached. The position is designed to provide in-office support to the Marketing Team in the areas of marketing administration, conversion strategies, inbound familiarisation tours and campus tours as well as some overseas travel in support of recruitment activities. The MC works as part of a team in the implementation of the marketing plan, with particular involvement in the follow-up of applicants and conversion process. The MC will also be required to provide general support to the Marketing team in the areas of materials distribution, filing, updating Agency records, liaising as necessary with travel agency regarding travel arrangements for the Marketing Team; liaising with inbound visitors and visiting groups, campus tours for visitors and answering phone calls for all members of the Marketing of the Team when their stations are unattended. The MC will be expected to assist the Student Services Team in the provision of an extensive and comprehensive after-sales service to students at peak times in February, June and September/October just before, during and following a new commencement. Working in a high energy environment with extremely motivated people, this role has a marketing support function focused on the recruitment of students and the MC needs to be a highly motivated, team-orientated person, capable of adding value to the College’s Marketing team.

Be part of the College marketing/admission process, with particular focus on student recruitment through the follow-up of sales and conversion process Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills inclusive of strong verbal and written English language communication skills and particularly with a variety of cultural and ethnic stakeholder groups Understand education services marketing Have a working knowledge of the Tier 4 compliance regulations and QAA’s Code of Practice Demonstrate an effective knowledge of university pathway programmes Possess relevant tertiary qualifications or be enrolled in a relevant higher education programme or possess ‘A’ Level qualifications as a minimum and be willing to pursue tertiary qualifications, preferably in services marketing Possess expertise in the area of front-line customer relationship management Computer literacy skills inclusive of demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook Experience in an education or customer services focused environment A track record of promoting and selling educational services Knowledge of the tertiary university market for school leavers A demonstrated ability to set and meet sales targets in a complex services environment Proven ability to participate in a recruitment programme and implement recruitment strategies and sales tactics Proactive work habits and a positive, team orientated approach to all tasks Experience in a multi-cultural environment
