Marketing Coordinator A permanent full-time position located in Sydney’s CBD, providing sales and marketing support in the education sector.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality support to the sales and marketing team. Delivering activity across multiple areas such as social media, digital engagement, website, promotions and multimedia content, database maintenance and compliance.

The person we are seeking will ideally have the following:  Experience in working in an outcome driven environment  A high degree of autonomy, accountability and initiative  Ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders  Hands-on experience in developing multimedia content such as copy, images and video   An understanding of privacy regulations and compliance  Experience in a similar role in the education sector or within an agency environment, highly desirable  Proficient use in Adobe Suite AI & PS will be advantageous

Overview and Objectives of the Position Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media programs, work-force education and student recruitment. The Marketing Coordinator, Careers and Internships role sits within the Careers and Internships division within Navitas. The division includes the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP), Health Skills Australia (HSA), Government Services, SAE Creative Media Institute and Navitas Professional.

This position is primarily responsible and accountable for the provision of sales support and marketing services to Careers and Internships (Navitas Professional).

Principal accountabilities 1.

Administration Support & Services

Ensures efficient and consistent administration processes as well as providing high quality administrative support to the Sales and Marketing team. 

Liaising with the Marketing Manager with regard to the implementation, monitoring and review of systems and procedures



Providing confidential administrative support to the Marketing Manager



Providing data entry and analytics support



Maintaining appropriate manual and digital records, databases and filing systems e.g. promotion authorisations



Assisting with coordinating Sales and Marketing meetings – including minute taking and follow-up



Budget management, including completing financial requisitions/invoices for the Sales and Marketing team as appropriate



Assistance with organising special events as requested by Marketing Manager

2. Enquiry management Ensures effective enquiry management by: 

Ensuring that all direct enquiries are effectively followed-up within agreed time parameters, including coordinating/distributing and/or responding to direct enquiries (e.g. info@ and enquiry@ emails)



Developing/maintaining standardised responses for use with direct enquiries



Liaising with the sales team in the updating of agent and enquiry records through the use of eBECAS and Salesforce, Marketo



As required, liaising and communicating with prospective students, clients, and other stakeholders via authorised communication channels, including official social media platforms, in accordance with company policy

3. Social Media/Digital & Website Management 

Liaising with the Marketing Manager to develop, maintain and update all social media platforms in a timely manner



Liaising with Marketing Manager to develop, maintain and update all websites in accordance with policy, best practices and within agreed timeframes



Working with the Marketing Manager to be at the forefront of social media changes and best practices



Ongoing monitor of Google alerts to provide Marketing Manager industry and competitor intel

4. Brochure, Promotions & Multimedia Content Management 

Maintaining and monitoring stocks of brochures and promotional materials



Coordinating the distribution of brochures and promotional materials to agents, students and internal stakeholders for exhibitions and fairs



Maintaining a centralised database for promotions



Develop multimedia content in consultation with marketing manager i.e.: copy, images and videos for social media and promotional activities



Manage communications plans and rollout, including preparation and distribution of SMS, edm and nurturing campaigns in consultation with the marketing team

5. Agent database and agreement record maintenance Ensures accurate and efficient management and maintenance of the Navitas English agent databases and records management by: 

Processing requests for agency agreements with potential agents



Maintaining precise records of all agent agreements/contracts

Maintaining accurate digital records and updating databases e.g. agent information

6. Compliance Contributes to the maintenance of client privacy by: 

ensuring privacy regulations are understood and implemented



ensuring client records and personal information are stored securely according to Navitas UPA privacy policy



cooperating with other Navitas E&C staff and external agencies to ensure E&C complies with privacy regulations Contributes to the maintenance of a safe working environment, within their area of operations, by:



maintaining local workplaces that are safe and without risk to health;



ensuring relevant occupational health and safety regulations are complied with at local workplaces;



ensuring that staff (e.g. interns) are effectively inducted, trained, motivated and afforded equal employment opportunity

7. Selection Criteria (Qualifications, Skills and Experience) Essential:  

Degree in marketing or business with a major in marketing Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

     

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer and client service Demonstrated ability to form strong and trusted relationships with stakeholders Demonstrated commitment to improving services and meeting targets Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Ability to work independently to achieve required outcomes Willingness to assist/support colleagues when required Desirable:



Experience in a similar role in an education organisation
