Marketing & Events Manager (London) Job Description Reporting Manager: Senior Marketing Manager - UK, ROI and Nordics

Job Purpose Summary Delivery of the Regent St. marketing plan in line with the core strategic marketing plan. Responsibility for key KPIs including footfall, marketing budgets, bookable event revenue.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities         

Take ownership of the Regent St marketing plan driving its delivery by engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners. Lead by example with energy by being the ‘go-to’ at significant in store events, whenever required, ensuring that they are delivered professionally and project the Hamleys brand image. Demonstrate effective communication by producing detailed event plans, delivering creative briefs, digital briefs and significantly contributing in meetings. Develop strong relationships with partners including, but not restricted to, product suppliers and local attractions. Understand the local customer and competitors to aid development of the local marketing plan. Act as the Regent St stores key contact for initial press enquiries, liaising with PR agency to deal with queries. Deliver and report on targeted KPIs including footfall, event revenue, £ budget and number of events per annum. Produce marketing event synopsis’s and demonstrate ROI for marketing campaigns. To adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business with a positive attitude being proactive to propose and develop new opportunities.

Specific Job Skills:   

3+ yrs Experience in retail /marketing /media environment, Exposure to the development of larger events and promotions, Organised and efficient and ability to work to tight deadlines.
