Marketing Support Officer – US Programs Navitas China Beijing; Full time, Ongoing Navitas is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programs, English language training and settlement services, creative media education, workforce education and student recruitment.

Navitas, or PIBT as it was then, was founded in 1994 with the goal of helping more international students succeed at university in Australia via improved student support and an extended academic year. Since this time Navitas has significantly expanded the services it offers its students and clients and is now creating opportunities through lifelong learning for over 83,000 people in 23 countries per year. This role forms an integral part of the Navitas (China) Group Marketing team and will be based within Mainland China. The position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager – US and will work closely across global Navitas divisions within the US. The Marketing Support Officer – US will predominantly be responsible and accountable for sales and marketing for the Navitas University Programs Division for the US. The overall objective of the position is to provide event management, marketing and administrative support to the Destination Market specialist team. Strong administration skills are required for this role, as is experience within a marketing or sales environment.

Essential skills and experience          

Native Mandarin speaker. Demonstrated excellence in English speaking, reading and writing. Possession of a tertiary degree level qualification and/or 3-4 years sales and/or education industry marketing experience Understanding of key issues within international language and education sector Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills and relationship management skills in English Willingness to contribute as a team player Understanding of key marketing strategies and sales tactics Innovative thinking and proactive work habits inclusive of an eye for detail and for new recruitment initiatives Ability to work to tight deadlines, changing priorities and to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes Ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure competing demands are met Advanced computer skills and early adopter mindset

Desirable:   

International study experience Experience working with Education Counsellors Familiar with the use of Adobe Creative Suite (eg. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
