FAQ’s How do I renew my license? The state sends renewal notices prior to expiration. Your License renewal form will have a check-off required which certifies that the renewing architect has met the CE requirements. A random audit will be performed after the renewals are received. Who notifies the State of my continued education? It is the licensee’s responsibility to notify the state. You must keep your records for at least 2 years. Random audits are conducted after renewal application is received. I have extra credit hours. Can I apply them to the next renewal cycle? Massachusetts does not allow credits to carry forward. Credits must be earned within the 12 month license renewal cycle, Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. Are AIA approved classes accepted? Yes
