MASTER OF EDUCATION IN ADMINISTRATION AND SUPERVISION ON-SITE EVENING PROGRAM

If you want to increase your salary, expand your employability and advance your career ethically in the primary and secondary education worlds, a Master of Education in Administration & Supervision (MEDAS) degree can help make that happen. SWU’s nationally recognized MEDAS degree program offers convenient on-site courses at five centralized campuses so teachers can work around their busy schedules. Students will complete three practicum opportunities and an internship at their current school, gaining a deeper understanding of educational leadership, school operations management, community relations and advanced educational research. This program leads to advanced certification and, for those who have already earned a master’s degree, will qualify you for SC’s Masters Plus 30 status. SWU’s Master of Education degree program stands apart because it also incorporates Christ-centered strategies for handling the ethical and legal challenges of today’s workplace. Students wanting to teach outside South Carolina are encouraged to contact their state department of education to ensure the M.Ed. degree offered by Southern Wesleyan University meets their state’s requirements.

EVENING CLASS FORMAT This program is only offered as a fully on-site evening program with no online courses. The on-site format is best suited for the curriculum and pacing of this program. Evening classes meet one night per week at your local SWU education center location.
