MAY AFTER SCHOOL CARE NEWSLETTER APRIL SHOWERS…. As God created us, He also created small creatures to share with us. We had so much fun springing into April and learning about all the small creatures God created that help bring this season alive! We learned about insects and worms; and how they help plants grow. The children explored real earthworms and saw how they move in the dirt! We learned which insects do and do not fly and got to shoo flies away in a fun painting activity.

BRING MAY FLOWERS!!!!

As we head into May, we will finish the school year with Nursery Rhymes. That’s right; it’s rhyme time! We will be enjoying lots of our favorite Nursery Rhymes and activities that go along with each story on the list. We will have activities with Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue, and many others with a religious twist! We will have experiences with an old woman who lived in a shoe, Little Miss Muffet, and even Jack and Jill. No need to worry, no one will be falling downhill! When at home with your children, you can read Mother Goose. This month, you have the perfect excuse!

*IMPORTANT NOTICE* May 24 will be our closing program and you will be able to pick up your child’s memory book! The last day of Preschool is May 25. Day One will be CLOSED May 28 for Memorial Day. In His Name, The After-School Program Team
