Mehling and Steffe receive honors FERDINAND — The Forest Park Athletic Department presented the Mary Kay Ruhe Blanket and the Male Senior Award Blanket Wednesday afternoon at the senior awards ceremony. Claire Mehling was the recipient of the Mary Kay Ruhe Blanket, and Reid Steffe was awarded the Male Senior Award Blanket. The blankets represent the student athlete who best exemplifies athletic ability, sportsmanship, character, dedication, leadership, work ethic and attitude. The athletes nominated were voted on by each varsity coach.
