He/she supervises a talented team of professional technologists, prepares schedules and budgets, and makes independent judgments concerning the Radiology Department. He/she adheres to the mission of Orange City Area Health System in all aspects of job performance. This position requires the ability to problem solve and multi-task, working closely with the radiologist, physicians, nurses, radiological staff, and patients. Technical skills are a plus. This position reports directly to the COO. At least two years’ experience as a staff technologist is required; management experience preferred. Completion of AMA school of Radiologic Technology or completion of State of Iowa radiology class required. Must have current American Registry of Radiologic Technology license and State of Iowa Permit to Practice. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
