Telling Yourself the Truth in a World Full of Lies! Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31

on God’s Word!

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers. Psalm 1:1-3

Home Work Week Five

1. Start journaling your thoughts and behavior, especially those that are sinful, troubling, or reactive. 2. In your imagination, take the hand of Jesus and walk through each of the 4 rooms of your spiritual and relational house. Ask the Lord to reveal to you the beautfiul and the difficult. Talk to Him about both! 3. Spend time with God alone, praying and going through the steps above. Do this as a daily discipline. Memorize a key scripture that addresses one of your lies. Write scriptures on your mirrors and hang them on the walls of your room. 4. Talk to other people in the family of God about some of the lies you are believing. Ask them what truth they know that addresses your lies. Mutually encourage one another as you grow in truth 5. Begin to prayerfully prepare for next week as we look together at our thought life and temptation.
