February is traditionally the month of love and the children will be celebrating Valentine’s Day by exchanging valentines in their classroom. See your teacher’s class letter for more details. This month you will see that we have Speech/Language Screenings. Please be sure to check the dates and sign up in the classroom if you are interested in having your child screened. Our theme for the month of February is Creative Creations. Our Open House this month will be celebrating artists.

OPEN HOUSE Walk into a classroom and see the inspirations of Monet, Picasso or Rembrandt. The children (and teachers) have been working hard in preparing for their Open House on Thursday, February 28. School closes for ALL classes at 1:00 p.m. that day to get ready for our big event! All are invited.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD Isaiah Jacob Shin was born on 12/6/18 and weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. Big sister is Zoey. Levi Reign Nauta was born on 1/8/19 and weighed 7 lbs. and was 19-1/2” long. Big brother is Landon. Congrats to all!!

SPEECH/LANGUAGE SCREENINGS We have scheduled Speech and Language Screenings for Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, February 13. The cost for the Speech and Language Screening will be $20.00. Permission slips and information will be in your child’s cubby soon.

REGISTRATION INFO Registration for the fall will begin in March. Packets will be sent home during your child’s Parent Teacher conference on March 18 & 19. If you have friends who are interested in sending their child to our preschool and who have not yet been added to our mailing list, please tell them to come and visit, or call, ASAP so that they may receive a packet. If your child has a sibling that will be starting in the fall, please let us know in the office so that we may have a packet ready for you at conference. There will be a Summer Camp offered this year at the preschool. Camp will start on Monday, June 17. Information will be included in the registration packet.

VALENTINE EXCHANGE The children will be exchanging Valentines in the classrooms with their friends on February 13th and 14th. To make it easier, where it says “To” just write Friend and where it says “From” write your child’s name or have your child print their own name.
