CONNECT 1. What impacted you the most from Pastor Troy’s message?

GROW 2. Read 1 Corinthians 6:12-20. Understanding the phrase “I will not be dominated by anything” in verse 12, how does Paul relate this to food and sexual immorality? What in your life do you feel like you are being dominated by?

3. What do you think constitutes sexual immorality? Why does Paul say the body is not meant for sexual immorality?

4. Can you think of other biblical examples of sexual immorality? What were the consequences of each of those actions?

5. Read Proverbs 5:1-14. What are some of the consequences of sexual immorality in this passage?

6. Read Genesis 39 and discuss what might be the price of sexual purity? How did Joseph respond to the temptation, and how do we see this playing out in our own lives?

7. What do you think It means that our body is a temple? Why do you think that God is so concerned with purity?

8. Unpack the phrase “You were bought with a price.” What do you think that means and how does this relate to what we are studying in this passage?

9. How does our union with Christ relate to our understanding of this passage especially in light of Ephesians 5:21-27 when thinking of the metaphor of Christ and the Church?

10. Can you think of examples in our day where sexual immorality is run rampant? How do these each go against the will of God for sexual purity?
