Please pray that 2018 will be a year of blessing for each individual and church in Great Commission Churches. GCE: Pray for hearts to be prepared for the Awaken VII Conference in Berlin, Germany on Jan 2-5, 2018, that each person attending will hear God's voice and that He might bring about eternal changes in their lives for His glory. Pray that the elders in the Mid-Atlantic region would pastor their congregations well so that members are growing mature in Christ. Pamplona, Spain: Pray for effective follow-up of people who have trusted Christ or have receptive hearts to the gospel, for God's direction in finding a new meeting location, and for effective outreach for La Roca’s Children’s Christmas Choir (20 Dec - Jan 6). Please pray, in the spirit of 1 Tim. 2:1-4, that America will be a country where the gospel of Jesus Christ is multiplying. Chestnut Ridge, WV: Pray that our capital campaign would raise the necessary funds to accomplish the vision we feel God has given us and that we would find new high school and college ministry directors. New Heart Church, Taiwan: Pray that disciple making would be on the hearts of all our church family. Mid-Atlantic Region: Please pray that God would raise up more elders in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Philippines, Mike Bergen: Pray for one of the new churches with new leadership that is struggling to continue. Ask God to help the Philippine missionaries in Cambodia learn the language this year. Italy: Milano - Pray for Pam Apisa's complete healing, that the church would grow in love and unity, that God would raise up Italian leaders, and that the Lord will continue to add to our number. Praise God that we had a young lady come to salvation last month. Nelson Guerra and GCLA: Pray for a healthy, growing church plant in every major Latin American city. Oak Ridge, MD: We are in a re-envisioning process. Pray for our fellowship to be one that has a gospel-sharing culture. Herschel Martindale, DR: Please ask for God’s grace and help for the leadership training in the Dominican Republic churches with Herschel, Thomas Lemus, Aldo Miranda, Sergio Sabino, and George Sebek. Blacksburg Ablaze, VA: Pray for our leaders retreat January 14-15. We will be praying and planning for the new year together—lots of changes with graduations of many core leaders. Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Please pray that there would be racial harmony in our country. River Ridge, WV: Pray for an increase in laborers for the gospel. Teays Valley, WV: Pray that God will use the building to reach more people for Christ in our community. India & Nepal: Pray that Christians would be protected in light of the anti-conversion law in Nepal so that the gospel can still spread. Evergreen, VA: That the principles of excellence we have studied in Ezra and Nehemiah this fall would become deeply entrenched in the DNA of our church and that our elders and leaders would be increasingly better examples! Eastern Europe: Sweden - Pray for open hearts in our Swedish conversation group for refugees. Ukraine - Pray our parents raise their kids with a foundation in Christ and that we’d be a light in a time of war. Romania - Pray for salvations in our after-school program. Europe Interface: Pray that this meeting of missionaries and leaders would result in the advancement of the gospel in Europe. GCC National Leadership Council : Pray that the Lord would lead us as we make plans for the GCC association. Next Generation Meeting: Pray that God would use this focus group to help us be more effective in reaching the next generation. Germany: Dortmund - Pray for wisdom and direction concerning B2. Cologne – Pray as the Ashtons adjust to life here and for their ministry to refugees. Berlin - Pray the Yazidi refugee family would realize their need for Jesus as they learn His story for the first time. WVU: Pray that the campus ministry at West Virginia University will bear great fruit. Monterrey, Mexico: Please pray for wisdom and direction in discipleship and evangelism training for church members. South Ridge, WV: Pray for the launch of the Bridgeport, WV location that will occur as soon as building renovations are completed. Amsterdam50: Pray for refugees to have every need provided and for hearts to continue to soften to Jesus, for Christmas celebration attendees to hear and receive the message of hope in Christ, for the short-term mission team coming in early March. Tom Short Campus Ministries: Pray that Tom and the ministry team are examples of genuine, Christ-like love; for lasting fruit; that God works powerfully through the ministry team this fall. Doug Brown, Asia Team: Please pray for the missionaries in Asia, persecuted Chinese family seeking asylum in the U.S., new generation of believers to leave Buddhism in Myanmar, and effective international student outreach on college campuses in the U.S. Bridgeport, WV: Pray for courage to take necessary steps of faith to reach other cities throughout our state with the good news

of Jesus Christ. Pray that we will be able to provide hope and support for those struggling with addiction and despair.
