MISSIONS & OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES
PACKING DATES: Oct. 21-22, Nov. 18-19, and Dec. 9-10 TIMES: Friday night set-up tables starting at 4:30pm and unload the food until about 7 pm. Saturday doors open at 9am for refreshments and fellowship, 9:30am – 12pm packing
PLACE: Eagle School Intermediate - 730 Eagle School Road Martinsburg, WV 25404 Park in the schools back parking lot and enter through center metal door. All ages are welcome, no one is too young or too old.
WEEKLY NEEDS: There’s a need for weekly delivery people for both counties, one day a week during school hours.
Power Pack Food Drive at Asbury: October 1 – October 31 Items Needed: Easy to open, non-perishable, child friendly foods. Oatmeal packs, ravioli, Jell-O cups, pudding cups, Cup of Noodles, fruit cups, granola bars, applesauce, mac & cheese bowls, mini cereal boxes… etc.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE Immanuel’s Table 713 Buxton St. Martinsburg, WV 25401 Date: October 17 Times: 4pm - Prep Food & Set-up, 5:30pm - Worship 6pm - Serve Meals, 7pm - Breakdown Come serve, fellowship and worship with our Martinsburg neighbors in need. All ages are welcome to participate. Shepherdstown Fall Festival Shepherdstown Fire Station: 8052 Martinsburg Pike Date: October 29 Time: 9am – 3pm Seeking volunteers to donate homemade rolls, breads, cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, soups, chili, and crafts. Jefferson County Community Ministries (JCCM) 238 Washington St. Charles Town, WV 25414 Dates: November 3 and December 29 Time: The team will gather at 5pm and meals are served at 6pm Mission Team will be preparing and serving meals to the homeless at JCCM on. Need volunteers to help to serve, socialize, and donate food items. Martinsburg Rescue Mission 602 W. King St. Martinsburg, WV 25401 Date: November 22 Time: 4:30pm Mission Team will be preparing and serving meals to the homeless. Need volunteers to help to serve, socialize, and donate food items.
