May 4 Faculty/Staff Appreciation Lunch Bronco Ball 6 pm

We are in the thick of the last quarter of school, and there are still so many exciting events ahead of us. Just this week, we are scheduled to take our annual standardized test, and the sixth grade will participate in their Legacy Ceremony accompanied by their parents on campus. Indeed, the time is flying by, but I don’t want us to lose focus on the purposeful and important weeks ahead. Several other important events for which to mark your calendar should be noted also. The Third and Fourth Grade musical is scheduled for Thursday, April 19th and the Junior and Senior Prom is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st. Additionally, our students in fine arts will be participating in our spring Fine Arts Concert on Tuesday, May1st. If you’ve never been to this event, I encourage you to do so – even if you don’t have a child performing. You’ll see the work of our talented Art students, with the opportunity to purchase their artwork (these are perfect presents for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day), and you’ll witness the incredible creativity and skill of our performing arts students: Beginner Band, Choir, and Orchestra; Junior High Band, Choir, and Orchestra, and High School Band, Choir, and Orchestra. I’m impressed more and more with these students each year, and I know they will also make an impression on you. God continues to bless our school in so many ways. We celebrated 45 years of Christian education just recently – thank you for coming out to support us and to celebrate with us at Spring Creek Barbecue! Also, enrollment for next year has already nearly matched the current enrollment for this year – praise God! If trends hold, the high school could see over 200 students for the first time in school history next year. The junior high grades continue to increase in enrollment as classes are very close to filling up, and elementary enrollment is moving along well with several grades already full for next year. We are already planning for next year’s events and courses, and I can’t wait for our students to experience what we have scheduled. However, before I look too far, I share with you the great responsibility of finishing this year well. Take heart in knowing that God has a significant plan and purpose for each of us – and our children. Consider the rich foundation you are giving them to be rooted in a quality academic setting…but more than that, think about the eternal impact the knowledge of God’s Word, taught by loving Christian teachers, has on your child(ren). Let’s set our sights ahead and commit the rest of this year to God’s glory. Generationally focused, Jason Nave Head of School

honor roll field trip to enjoy the fruit of their labor.

Seniors get to enjoy their breakfast and senior skip day privileges while the rest of the student body stretch their brains and show what they know on the Terra Nova coming up the mornings of April 12th and 13th for secondary. Attendance, rest, a good breakfast, and focus is what we ask of students during this test time. These scores are important, and we want students to perform well individually and as a school. Please let your child know it's important to you too that they do their best and take the test seriously. Variety Dress Week is coming up the week of the 16th, and it will culminate with Jr/Sr Prom on Saturday, April 21st. I'm so grateful for BACS and biblical education. I pray our students will follow in His steps when the scripture says, "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52.

BACS Fine Arts has had an awesome Spring! The Fine Arts Department students have been working hard to prepare selections for Solo & Ensemble Festivals and Concert Festivals. These students represented the school well by receiving Superior and Excellent ratings on their performance pieces. Band, Choir, and Orchestra also participated in Concert Festivals, and all groups brought back Superior and Excellent ratings. High School Art students are preparing pieces of art to enter into the TAPPS Art Championship, and we look forward to hearing their results as well! The Spring Fine Arts Showcase will be held on Tuesday, May 1st. Our BACS Art Gallery will be open from 6:00-8:00, and will showcase work from our BACS student artists. The Fine Arts Concert will begin at 6:30 pm with 5th - 12th Music & Choir students performing on the first half of the concert, and 5th - 12th Band & Orchestra students performing on the second half. The concert will conclude by 8:30 pm and will highlight our talented BACS Musicians. Please make plans to attend and support our Fine Arts Department!
