“MOVING TOWARD WHAT’S MESSY” (John 5:1-8) Our world and our lives can get pretty messy. During the Christmas season we celebrate Jesus coming into our messy world to give us hope. He consistently moved toward the messy in His ministry. He calls us to follow His grace-filled example.

“MOVING TOWARD WHAT’S MESSY” (John 5:1-8) “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me” (John 5:7, ESV). “Get up, take up your bed, and walk” (John 5:8, ESV). “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:31-32, ESV). “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14, ESV).
