My Christmas Story In Dec 2009 a friend of mine asked me to come see her in the performance of Christmas Celebration at First Baptist Allen. After the play I was asked if there was anything special that stood out, or if I had any questions. I told her it was all new to me. It was the first time I had ever seen or heard the full story of Christ. She looked bewildered. She had been brought up in the church; her father and brother were pastors. On the other hand, I had never been to any church. I had been raised in a Jewish household and celebrated Hanukkah. This started my walk to salvation. I started asking questions to a co-worker I knew that was Christian. He, in turn, gave me my first Bible and asked me to read Mathew which I read and more. I attended a few more services and on Easter Sunday 2010, I filled out a guest card which got me plugged into a Bible Fellowship Group. By June 2010, I accepted Christ, and in August 2010, I was baptized. And in July of 2011, I married that friend, now my wife and partner in Christ. So, Christmas Celebration 2009 introduced me to Christ; I was a member of the cast in 2010; and I found the love of my life in 2011. What a wonderful way to remember Christmas!
