MY DREAM HOLIDAY! By Dumy Saisha Okeke

TO WHERE?

At first I was wondering where we were going. Our bags were set and we were ready to go, but… to where? “Come on! Your going to make us late!” My Mom ushered me down the stairs. So far everyone was in the car. “Where in the world are we going to?” I asked. “Shh! That’s the thing we are not staying on Earth, going to the MOON!” My siblings said.

At first I laughed so hard my chest hurt. But I noticed they were serious! Just at that moment are car had turned into some type of transformer car but a rocket, and it blasted into the SKY!

WHAT DID I BRING? I screamed until everyone was quiet and we seemed to be in mid air and my parents announced we should put our astronaut suits on. And I was like since when did we have those? But when I checked my luggage I had… Chewing gum, Coke, Bunch of clothes, Swimming suit and Astronaut suit too as well as some books, my device and a camera. “See!” My sister pointed at the astronaut suit while putting on her sleeve.

Passport to the moon. 4 hour flight With luggage less then 3KG Food packed SIGNED: OKEKE FAMILY (6 people )

MOON AT LAST ! Finally as we braced our selves we bursted into space! I was so SCARED! But I held on to the near by handle and closed my eyes.. I watched us park on the moon, and most of us exited the car, except me. I stood there biting my nails in the car. “Come on!” My brother said, and then I decided to walk out of the car, and to the moon! It was so cool! I was floating, actually floating!

FACTS! • The moon actually takes 3 days to get to. • Astronauts must have oxygen, food, water, and rest.

• The first landing on the moon was 1996 • The moon has it’s own lunar cycle! Is the sun better then the moon? I dunno.

For now I will stick with Paris, Washington DC, Hawai & Home for holidays.
