Natural Ingredients Guide Lemongrass Spa offers skin enhancing products with ingredients that heal, condition and pamper the largest organ of your body. Here are some of the most widely used ingredients we utilize in our handcrafted formulas.

Oils and Butters Almond Oil: Sweet almond oil is rich in protein and vitamin E that softens and soothes the skin. Used In: Body Polish, Hand & Body Lotion, Massage Bar and Peppermint Foot Balm. Aloe Vera Juice & Gel: From the Aloe Vera plant, this natural liquid helps soothe irritated or dry skin and improves skin’s ability to hydrate and protect itself. Used In: Hand & Body Lotion, Hydrating Body Spritz, Prebiotic Body Wash and Ultra Hydrating Body Crème. Apricot Kernel Oil: Light and gentle oil that contains fatty acids, vitamin E and A which moisturize and nourish dry, mature skin. This oil easily absorbs into skin without leaving an oily residue. Used In: Organic Anti Aging Serum, Organic Eye Makeup Remover, Organic Lip Balm, Organic Skin and Nail Balm and Sunscreen Stick.

Coconut Oil: Coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer and skin conditioner. It also has antibacterial and anti fungal properties, giving it natural cleansing abilities. Used In: Deodorant Paste, Espresso Body Scrub, Overnight Rehab Crème, Organic Lip Balm and Prebiotic Hand Wash. Fractionated Coconut Oil: An excellent skin conditioner, delivering a topical barrier without clogging pores. It also provides moisturizing, smoothing and toning benefits, as well as fighting wrinkles. Perfect as a carrier oil for essential oils, as it preserves and maintains their original fragrance and benefits, while diluting safely. Used In: BB Crème, Facial Polish, Hand & Body Lotion, Healing Elements and Massage Bar. Also sold individually to be used as a carrier oil for essential oils. Jojoba Oil: An excellent oil for improving moisture in the skin, as it emulates the skin’s natural oils. Jojoba is also known to relieve inflammation associated with sunburn and dry skin conditions. Used In: Face Crème, Hand & Body Lotion, Massage Oil, Prebiotic Hand Wash and Ultra Hydrating Body Crème.

Mango Butter: Obtained from the kernels of the mango tree, this ingredient is an emollient and lends protection against the sun, prevents dry skin, reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity to skin.

Allantoin: A healing, moisturizing, soothing and anti-irritating natural component found in comfrey root. It is a healing agent, which stimulates healthy formulation of tissue. Excellent in the treatment of acne, sunburn, abrasions and mature skin ailments.

Used In: Body Icing, Body Polish, Bronzing Butter and Ultra Hydrating Body Crème. Shea Butter: Contains a high content of fatty acids that moisturizes and retains skin’s elasticity. It’s also moisturizing and soothing without clogging pores. Used In: Eye Crème, Hand & Body Lotion, Healing Elements, Organic Lip Gloss and Whipped Body Butter. Sunflower Vitamin E Oil: An antioxidant that helps slow skin’s natural aging process. Our Vitamin E is 100% derived from sunflowers, free of soy and GMO. Used In: Bronzing Butter, Espresso Body Scrub, Mineral Bath Soak, Organic Lip Balm and Vegan Lip Balm.

Essential Oils Essential oils are used to add aromatherapy properties and all natural fragrance to products. We use only certified organic or wildcrafted oils. Used In: Aromatherapy Mists and a variety of other products. They are also sold individually in 15 ml bottles.

Used In: Face Crème w/ Botanicals, Gentle Face Crème, Pomegranate Facial Mask and Tea Tree Face Crème. Chamomile Extract: The plant’s healing properties comes from its flower, which can help reduce inflammation, heal rashes, soften skin and alleviate itching. Used In: Cleansing Gel, Face Crème, Healing Elements and Prebiotic Facial Wash. Coffee, Lavender petals, Rosemary and Spearmint leaves: Add texture, color, aromatherapy properties and/or exfoliation. Used In: Bar Soap, Body Polish, Espresso Body Scrub and Foot Soak. Zinc Oxide: Natural occurring element that provides sun protection and reduces inflammation and redness from rashes and insect bites. Used In: Dry Shampoo, Healing Elements, Mineral Foundation and Sunscreen Stick.
