FAQ’s How do I renew my license? All CEUs should be earned by the end of the calendar year, which is also the same as Nevada’s registration renewal year. Who notifies the State of my continued education? It is the licensee’s responsibility to notify the State. The maintenance of records used to support CE credits claimed is the licensee's responsibility. Registrants must keep records of claimed CEUs for a minimum of three years after the end of the registration period for which the credit is claimed. I have extra credit hours. Can I apply them to the next renewal cycle? If you earn an excess of structured CEUs in a year, you may carry over no more than 4 of those units to the next renewal cycle. I am licensed as an Engineer as well as an Architect, how many hours of Continued Education must I complete? Continued education requirements vary for each profession; please visit the board’s website for more information. Are AIA approved classes accepted? Yes Note: The State board does not pre-approve courses or providers. Please use your judgment, based on the criteria in the regulation, to determine if an activity will be acceptable.
